 I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of the following public records relating to Ferguon's Crime-Free Multi-Housing Program

  • Number of calls for service from participating rental housing complexes in every year since the Crime Free Multi Housing (“CFMH”) program was introduced until the present  
  • Crime rates for Ferguson for every year since the CFMH was introduced
  • All internal reports/memos about the results/successes/challenges of the CFMH program in Ferguson
  • Current powerpoint presentation used in training workshop for landlords
  • Handouts provided to landlords during CFMH training
  • Sample crime-free lease addendum provided to landlords during CFMH training
  • For the years 2017, 2018, 2019 (to present): 
    • All correspondence between CFMH coordinator and landlords/owners/property managers concerning the CFMH program and/or alleged infractions of the crime-free lease addendum 
    • All correspondence between CFMH coordinator, or other members of Ferguson Police Department, and the Department of Public Works regarding suspected/alleged criminal activity at rental properties
    • All reports/logs/records tracking Ferguson police officers’ interactions with landlords/tenants in regards to the CFMH program, crime-free lease addendum or potential license revocation (related to criminal activity). This includes, but is not limited to reports/logs/records of phone calls, mail, and email correspondence regarding: Events triggering the CFMH program coordinator’s intervention, result of CFMH program coordinator’s intervention, any action taken by the landlord in response to the triggering event
    • The number of evictions that resulted after a member of the Ferguson Police Department contacted a landlord/owner/property manager about a potential violation of the crime-free lease addendum
    • Any and all policies, guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations used or relied upon to administer and/or enforce Sec 25-23 (3) of the Municipal Code (regarding revocation/suspension of rental license following more than one incidents of criminal conduct)
    • Any and all correspondence between the Dept of Public Works and landlords/property managers in regards to Sec 25-23 (3) of the Municipal Code (regarding revocation/suspension of rental license following more than one incidents of criminal conduct)
    • The number of evictions that resulted from a suspension/revocation of rental license enacted under Sec 25-23 (3) of the Municipal Code (regarding revocation/suspension of rental license following more than one incident of criminal conduct)
